Luma ICP Scout — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-29
Luma ICP Scout is a browser extension that helps a signed-in user identify which
attendees of a Luma event match their ideal-customer profile (ICP). This policy explains
what the extension does and does not do with data.
What the extension accesses
- Luma event guest lists — read from pages/APIs the signed-in user can
already access, to list attendees (name, photo, public LinkedIn/social links, bio).
- LinkedIn profiles — read from profiles the signed-in user can already
view, to extract public role/experience text used only for ICP matching.
- Your own website (optional) — fetched only when you click
“Build from site,” and only after you grant one-time permission for that site, to draft
your ICP.
Where your data is stored
All results, your ICP, feedback, and settings are stored locally in your browser
(chrome.storage.local). The extension does not run its own servers and does not
collect, sell, or share your data.
Optional integrations you control
- Dashboard sync (optional): if you set a Sync URL, your saved event lists
are sent only to that backend you configured, keyed to a private token you own.
- Claude API key (optional): if you provide one, it is stored locally and
used only to call Anthropic’s API from your browser to help judge profiles. It is not sent
anywhere else.
What we do NOT do
- No analytics, tracking, or advertising.
- No selling or sharing of personal data with third parties.
- No access to sites other than Luma, LinkedIn, and any site you explicitly approve.
Data you can delete anytime
Remove the extension, or use the in-app controls (Clear cache, delete saved events), to erase
locally stored data. Uninstalling removes all local data.
